CIC Partnership Boosts Bullets Commercialization Drive

Blantyre, May 14, Mana: Nyasa Big Bullets says its three-year partnership with Corporative Insurance Company (CIC) will boost its commercialization drive as it will add value to the game of football in the country.
Bullets Chief Executive Officer, Suzgo Nyirenda said this recently at the club’s offices in Blantyre during the signing ceremony of the partnership agreement with the CIC.
By partnering with Bullets, according to Nyirenda, CIC will have brand awareness, exposure, positioning and marketing of its product while Bullets will bring in numbers of potential insurance clients to CIC including players, officials and supporters.
Nyasa Big Bullets has secured business partnership with multinational insurance company, CIC Africa that include catering for players and supporters insurance needs as well as supporting the team’s commercialization drive.
The 3-year deal was sealed on Wednesday in Blantyre in which the benefits are mutual for both parties as the company is set to be unveiling more packages in the contract.

CIC Africa which operates in Malawi, Uganda, South Sudan and Kenya already does insurance business with Big Bullets’ official sponsors, Nyasa Manufacturing Company’s employees.
CIC’s chief executive officer (CEO), Chris Mugwang’a said it was thus decided to extend the deal using the club’s large supporters footprint across the country and the team shall soon become its insurance agent.

Nyirenda Appointed Bullets CEO
Super League defending Champions Nyasa Big Bullets has appointed Suzgo Nyirenda as new Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1st May 2021.
Nyirenda, a former Football Association of Malawi (FAM) General Secretary and experienced football administrator, has replaced Escort Chinula.
Nyirenda joins Bullets after serving as the Deputy General Secretary and Competition Manager for Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (Cosafa) in South Africa.
