Pupils arrive to school Students across England returned to school this morning following months of remote learning. For some time, schools and education settings across the UK have been preparing for the reopening to provide safe learning environments. Sutton Council confirmed preparations included the roll out of testing for secondary and college pupils, ongoing testing for staff in all early years, primary and secondary settings and the return of wraparound childcare for primary and secondary pupils. Two headteachers have said they have been looking forward to the return as there is no substitute for face to face support. Nathan Cole, Headmaster at Wilson’s School and Chair of Secondary Heads’ Board and Emma Walford, Head Teacher of Hackbridge Primary and Chair of Primary Heads’ Board said:
