Our infection rate is higher than the summer. This is not just about San Francisco but the entire region, state, and country the dangerous winter has arrived. We will have to take more action. We are still working out the details we are working out the details in Santa Santa Clara county. They have limited gatherings. Theres are things you have consider as well as other ideas to stop the spread. No one would like to be here. We spoke about worrying about doing well but having everyone relax and the cases spike like they did during the spanish flu. Im not saying thats what happened but there have been a lot of challenges including lack of national leadership. A lot of people have done well and put Public Health first. We are in the most dangerous periods of the pandemic and we need to do everything we can to keep hospitals from being over run. This is about saving lives. My name is doctor ellen moffett, i am an assistant medical examiner for the city and county of San Francisco. I perform autopsy, review medical records and write reports. Also integrate other sorts of testing data to determine cause and manner of death. I have been here at this facility since i moved here in november, and previous to that at the old facility. I was worried when we moved here that because this building is so much larger that i wouldnt see people every day. I would miss my personal interactions with the other employees, but that hasnt been the case. This building is very nice. We have lovely autopsy tables and i do get to go upstairs and down stairs several times a day to see everyone else i work with. We have a bond like any other group of employees that work for a specific agency in San Francisco. We work closely on each case to determine the best cause of death, and we also interact with family members of the diseased. That brings us closer together also. I am an inve

Yes, it would probably require a procurement process. But funding first. We will be as ready as we can be when eget the green we get the green light to go in terms of initiating a procurement process. So readiness is what we get from this. I think maybe to add to that, john, in terms of readiness, we also have a partnership established with m. T. C. , who is very invested in helping us get this funded and implemented. We realize this is a time where no one has any extra money and it also says we need to have done, because when the economy comes back and the people come back, they can navigate easily. So we will have it ready and continue to work with m. T. C. And anyone else we might be able to coordinate or partner with to get funds for that.
