To support the state’s vaccination efforts, UPMC in the Susquehanna region is now offering COVID-19 vaccination clinics for community EMS providers. To date, the clinics have provided the initial vaccine to over 350 providers and have been held in Williamsport, Hughesville, Wellsboro, McElhattan, and Coudersport. The clinics are ongoing and coordinated through UPMC’s prehospital services teams and Susquehanna Regional EMS.

MARIETTA, Pa. A 36 year-old man was killed this morning in a crash on the 800 block on Colebrook Road in East Donegal Township. Susquehanna Regional Police say Peter Stoltzfus, of Lancaster, was struck by a vehicle while working for Eagle Disposal Trash Company as a driver helper. Stoltzfus was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Lancaster County Coroner s office. The Susquehanna Regional Police and the Northwest Crash team are conducting the investigation which is ongoing at this time.
Anyone that witnessed anything or has information in regards to this incident, is urged to contact police at 717-426-1164.
Two-vehicle accident
JERSEY SHORE State police at Montoursville investigated a two-vehicle crash that took place on Dec. 22 in Limestone Township, Lycoming County.
According to police, Trevor A. Boring, 25, of Jersey Shore was traveling along state Route 880 in a 2018 GM Sierra, just North of Gottshall Road when he attempted to pass a 2001 Freightliner being driven by Kevin Jameson, 26, also of Jersey Shore. The Sierra struck the Freightliner and overturned. The Sierra sustained damage to its right quarter panel and severe damage to its roof. The Freightliner sustained minor damage to the front bumper.
There were no injuries. Police were assisted at the scene by the Nippenose Valley Fire Department, Susquehanna Regional EMS and PennDOT.
Police: Two men responsible for six-month spree of catalytic converter thefts in Lancaster County
Zachary Martin and Jonathan Evans are each charged with almost 200 felonies related to a spree of thefts across multiple jurisdictions earlier this year.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. Authorities in Lancaster County have charged two men with a multi-jurisdictional spree of thefts involving catalytic converters over a six-month span earlier this year.
Zachary Ryan Martin, 31, and Jonathan Robert Evans, 39, are accused of targeting parked vehicles, removing the catalytic converters, and selling them in Harrisburg for large amounts of cash, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney s Office.
