John Glenn students collect 1,690 items during annual food drive

NEW CONCORD John Glen High School students recently collected 1,690 items for the College Drive Presbyterian Church food bank during the annual food drive at the school.
Co-coordinated by school counselor Susan Snively and Key Club Advisor Sara Irvin, the food drive featured a competition between first period classes with Sabrina Bachmann s class winning a special lunch including pie from Theo s Restaurant in Cambridge.
John Glenn Principal Scott Carpenter expressed his appreciation for the work by the students at the school and the number of donations to help the community.
