The East Bay Food Pantry will be receiving $51,015 to resurface the floors at their facility, and awarded $30,000 to Linden Place for the preservation of the 18th Century Summer House.

Spring is a time for new beginnings and that couldn’t be truer for Bristol’s Linden Place Mansion. At the onset of the pandemic, the museum closed its doors but, during that time, the team of historians and curators were hard at work. “Linden Place has spent the last twelve months of the COVID-19 pandemic working on a complete reinterpretation of Linden Place’s tour and story,” says Susan Battle, executive director at Linden Place. “In doing that, we have redesigned rooms in the 1810 mansion, giving them a whole new look and feel that we are excited to unveil and share as part of our opening weekend, ‘Art Blooming at Linden Place’ show. This extra-special reopening will feature flower arrangements and original art inspired by the mansion’s beauty and history all created by local artists.
