New Delhi: The transport of virus-laden air droplets to deep lung could increase with decreasing breathing frequency, a new IIT study has found.
The study, by researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, revealed that holding breath or having a low breathing rate can increase chances of viruses, like Covid-19, that are airborne of depositing in the lungs.

New Delhi: India’s daily Covid cases have dropped below the 19,000-mark for the first time in six months.
A statement by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) Sunday said as many as 18,732 cases of Covid-19 were recorded across the country in the last 24 hours. This is the lowest the daily case count has been in six months since 1 July when 18,653 cases were recorded.

New Delhi: The Congress formed a disciplinary action committee Tuesday to look into a major goof-up in the Madhya Pradesh Youth Congress elections. The eight-member committee will be headed by Bharat Singh, a state leader.
