Jammu, February 11 (Scoop News)- Eat Smart Cities Challenge by Ministry of Housing and Urban, Government of India, in collaboration with FSSAI New Delhi, was conducted last year on a national level and in this competition, Smart City Jammu was awarded among the top 11 cities in India showing global leadership in food system transformation.
In continuation to its successful journey for implementing Eat Right Initiatives, Smart City Jammu today organised a Workshop cum orientation programme for the Health and Wellness Ambassadors from various Schools of Jammu City at Hotel Radisson Jammu.
The Chief Guest, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar launched "The Eat Right School" Campaign, which is designed to deliver and reinforce the message of safe and nutritious food through both curricular and co-curricular activities and ensure an enabling legislative and regulatory framework to promote safe and wholesome food in both government and private schools across the countr
