The Supreme Court has two cases remaining, the hobby lobby case on the contraceptive mandate and Health Care Law and another on employee unions. One of the Court Decisions handed down yesterday and talked about during the event we just watched was the case involving an Abortion Clinic buffer zone. Politico has this story about the case. The Supreme Court on thursday unanimously struck down a Massachusetts Law that restricted speech outside abortion facilities. A decision abortion rights advocates decried as a threat to patients safety at clinics nationwide. The court said the state law violated the First Amendment because its buffer zone limited speech too broadly, covering 35 feet from the doorway of facilities including public areas like sidewalks.
