The loss, as mentioned, is just very difficult on the members of the Colorado State patrol, who lost trooper jamie jercefex a year ago while she was also investigating a crash along very similar stretch of road here on i25. Needless to say its been very difficult last couple years. Its a matter of being able to comfort one another, being able to pull together and understand why we do what we do, and make sure that we are doing the best we can in order to go home each night.
