Despite being blessed with Allah the Almighty’s protection that allows us to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri this year with joy, His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam reminded his subjects to adhere to health guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Delivering the titah from Istana Nurul Iman yesterday evening on the occasion of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, His Majesty also highlighted health and safety should not be neglected during the festive season, including road users. “Vigilant steps and obeying law and regulations are required,” he said.

Twenty-eight orphans from Kampong Jerudong ‘A’ received donations following a
Tahlil for Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim.
Kampong Jerudong ‘A’ Village Consultative Council Advisor cum guest of honour Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Pahlawan Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohd Jaafar bin Haji Abdul Aziz handed over the donations, before the breaking of fast with the orphans.
Acting Village Head of Kampong Jerudong Haji Khairul Azmi bin Haji Lakat, Kampong Jerudong ‘A’ Village Consultative Council members, youths and guardians also attended.

Hengyi Industries Sdn Bhd held a presentation of donations to 20 underprivileged families and orphans from Kampong Serasa, Kapok, Muara and Meragang at Al-Fath Hall, Maritime and Port Authority of Brunei Darussalam (MPABD) Headquarters as part of the company’s annual corporate social responsibility initiative to lighten the burden of families and orphans for the upcoming Hari Raya celebration.
Legislative Council member and Acting Penghulu of Mukim Serasa Yang Berhormat Pengiran Haji Mohamed bin Pengiran Haji Osman @ Othman was the guest of honour.
Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Nik Hafimi binti Abdul Haadii was also present.
Guest of honour and Chief Executive Officer of Hengyi Chen Lian Cai presented the donations.
