MINERSVILLE, Pa. A fire forced eight people out of their homes in Schuylkill County.
The Minersville Fire Chief says the fire broke out at an apartment building on Sunbury Street just after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
It s believed to have started in an apartment in the back of the second floor.
Allison Wildermuth was home at the time, and the first thing she did was run to get her four-year-old daughter.
“My daughter was actually on the third floor in the bathroom, and I got to the stairs, and the whole third floor was just filled with smoke. I was terrified,” said Wildermuth.
Route 11 reopens after tractor-trailer crash in Perry County

A section of Route 11 that closed Thursday morning after a crash in Perry County has since reopened, traffic maps show.
Perry County dispatch said a car and tractor-trailer collided around 6:08 a.m. in Liverpool Borough. Both sides of Route 11 were closed in the area of Red Hill Road and Sunbury Street as a result, according to 511PA.
The closure was reduced to lane restrictions shortly after 7:30 a.m., according to the traffic map. Traffic delays should be expected.

Route 11 is closed in both directions Thursday morning after a car and tractor-trailer collided in Perry County, dispatchers said.
The crash occurred at about 6:08 a.m. in Liverpool, according to Perry County dispatch. Route 11 is shut down in the borough in the area of Red Hill Road and Sunbury Street, according to 511PA.
Dispatchers said the Life Lion medical helicopter is transporting one person to a hospital. The extent of their injuries is unclear.
