MINERSVILLE, Pa. A fire forced eight people out of their homes in Schuylkill County.
The Minersville Fire Chief says the fire broke out at an apartment building on Sunbury Street just after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
It s believed to have started in an apartment in the back of the second floor.
Allison Wildermuth was home at the time, and the first thing she did was run to get her four-year-old daughter.
“My daughter was actually on the third floor in the bathroom, and I got to the stairs, and the whole third floor was just filled with smoke. I was terrified,” said Wildermuth.
