昨天中午，在高邮市临泽镇钱镜村，20名忙了一上午的“插秧客”从插秧机上下来，聚在田埂上。不远处，钱镜村党总支副书记韩关桃和四名工作人员，拎着盒饭和饮料走了过来，为大家发午饭。“大家要是不够吃，这里还有，饮料尽管喝，不够了，我们再去买。”韩关桃沙哑地说。“这次村里真是帮大忙了，要不然秧苗烂了，我们就白忙活了。”村民孙春梅告诉记者。
村里帮了村民什么大忙？
“当时，我们请了专门的收草队。”韩关桃告诉记者，可由于收草队人手紧，根本无法在规定时间内完成作业。“时间耽误下来，可把我们急死了。”村民周国琴告诉记者，夏天秧苗从秧池里取出来，如果不及时下地，很容易烂掉。
