After the route opening team’s summit, the Giripremi team followed them and reached the summit after a determined climb,” the statement said. Umesh Zirpe, the leader of the expedition, said, “Due to the shortage of rope just 800 metre below the summit, the route opening team had to stop their climb midway and return to Camp-4 on Thursday.
