A graduate of Auburn University recently took home the top prize at the new Alabama Wildlife Fine Arts Competition, a part of theĀ annual Wetumpka Wildlife Arts Festival (WEWA). Jared Knox, the winner of the 'Best in Show' category, graduated from Auburn in 2021 with a degree in mechanical engineering and had only pursued art as a hobby during the vast majority of his time on the Plains.
The second annual Wetumpka Wildlife Arts Festival has been scheduled for November 11 from 9:30 a.m. till 4 p.m. and will take place on the banks of the Coosa River in downtown Wetumpka.
