Mother s emotional plea for teenage daughter s return
A Perth mother has issued a desperate plea to help find her teenage daughter, who has been missing for more than a day.
Rose Burns, 15, has been missing since Saturday afternoon and her family is concerned for her safety as she s been unwell. You stay at home and you think, I ve got to go and find her , so I roam around aimlessly and maybe I ll find her, Sue Burns told 9News.

A grateful Nelson woman has launched an appeal to find her personal Superman so she can thank him for saving her life.

Sue Burns would love to find the mystery hero who came to her rescue in Nelson this week when she started to choke.
The man swooped into action to help Sue Burns when she suddenly started to choke at the wheel of her car while driving home from a shopping trip to Asda in Colne.
Slamming on her brakes, Sue left her vehicle in a bid to find help and the mystery hero came out of nowhere to her aid.

We’ve all seen the viral memes of Senator Bernie Sanders and his mittens at the Presidential Inaguration, but did you know the idea for his sweater mittens came from Lake Leelanau’s upcycled wool clothing store baabaaZuzu?
“We started 28 years ago this year,” said baabaaZuzu co-owner Sue Burns. “It was a little bit of a laundry mishap that resulted in a pretty good pile of shrunken sweaters. I grew up sewing, and have a background in graphic design, and I just kind of blended the two talents and produced, refashioned little jackets for our young daughters.”
From there, the demand grew to women’s apparel, then hats, scarves, and their famous mittens.
