interfering with the election administration here in georgia, but also in questions of how they were muddying the water, shall we say, into the legitimacy of the certification of the results back in washington. so that could open up the subpoena that would be interested in, to a much broader array of georgia lawmakers in the stateside and federal level. the last time we talked about this a couple of weeks ago there was a real sense that this case in georgia might actually pose the greatest legal threat to the former president, and his allies. do we have a sense of what sort of time line we re looking at here? is there a chance that we could see charges even fairly soon? yes, just recently, willis said she would be open to subpoenaing trump herself and hearing testimony from him. she has said the grand jury is seat ford one year, until may, 2023, willis has said that its investigation, its recommendations are going to be seated long before that. though it is important to remember that

trump told him not to on grounds of executive privilege. the trump appointed judge in that case has ruled against that defense, saying it s not clear that the trump lawyer ever told him not to cooperate. legal experts expect this trial to be finished in a few days. the outcome probably not good for him. meanwhile congressman jodi heist who president trump recruited to run for georgia secretary of state is fighting a subpoena investigating interference in the 2020 presidential election. nbc news reports that hice was initially scheduled to appear before the grand jury today and that appearance was postponed after the fulton county district attorney s danny will is s office on monday agreed to delay the deposition pending the outcome of a july 25th hearing on the case in federal court, according to a court filing. that will determine if hice can move the case to federal court. on january 6th.
