The Lebanon County District Attorney has filed charges against a North Annville Township couple in connection with the alleged prolonged assault and abuse of their five adopted children, according to a news release.
On Tuesday, DA Pier Hess Graf filed the charges against Stephanie Angelette Duncan, 42, and husband Robert John Duncan, 44, of the 2700 block of Cedar Run Road.
They face multiple counts of aggravated assault, simple assault, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, endangering the welfare of a child, and conspiring with one another to commit these heinous acts.

Robert Little Eagle Smith could be sent home from the hospital on hospice care this week because he can’t afford a heart transplant.
“If you don’t have the money, you don’t get an organ, you don’t get put on the list. That’s just how it works,” said his stepdaughter, Katrina Fetterolf Delgado. “When I read that I said ‘Wow,’ and when they said that regarding my dad I said, ‘That just sounds crazy. That can’t be right.’ ”
