Patkar, arrested on July 19, received a "substantial" amount of proceeds of crime in his personal bank account from his company, Lifeline Hospital Management Services (LHMS), said the ED
The ED had lodged a money laundering case against Patkar and others based on Mumbai Police’s probe and arrested him last week. Patkar is one of the four partners of Lifeline Hospital Management Services that was awarded the contract to run a Covid-19 jumbo centre in Worli.
The court also asked the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Mumbai Police to take appropriate action as per law against the concerned persons.
