The Prime Minister of Antigua And Barbuda says 90 of buildings on barbuda have been demolished, barbuda now is literally rubble, he said. The centre of irma smashed into the island, which was home to about 1,600 people. Six people are reported dead on saint martin and the neighbouring french territory of st barts. The eye of the hurricane has passed over the British Virgin islands, President Trump has declared a state of emergency on the Us Virgin Islands and puerto rico as the storm approaches.
