Off the Menu: Mass Maple Weekend beckons Updated Mar 13, 2021; Facebook Share The short but sweet maple sugaring season is now well underway, and over the weekend of March 20 and 21, area maple producers will be participating in Mass Maple Weekend by offering tours and sugarhouse visits. Because of the need for pandemic-related precautions, the Massachusetts Maple Producers Association is encouraging those interesting is seeing how maple syrup is made to check with individual sugarhouse operations for any advance arrangements that might be required. The Association maintains a listing of participating sugarhouses along with contact information at their Mass Maple website, massmaple.org.
