Buy a book, youre supporting the author, the festival, and a great local indy store and also helping the texas book festival as a nonprofit entity, pure student to mission of support low income schools in texas with author visits, book donations via the reading rock stars program, and to fun grant ford libraries thought the state.
Murdered. My staff was so hopeful that we were going to find her alive and when the news came last night that she was not alive it was horrific. Thorough search that they found her body. Police took down the crime tape surrounding the parking structure where the body of maddie was found. They found her remains concealed and hidden late monday night. This has been just a horrific horrific experience for the family, as well as for our entire community. Reporter kevin believes maddie was killed before she was reported missing. She was last seen riding her scooter around the complex. They say a 15yearold boy new maddie and she was murdered inside his apartment. She knew him. She had a reasonable amount of trust in him, she was 8 years old. Its a lot of life. Always joyful. Reporter Wilmington Police say they were called to the apartment on the 800 block of west ninth street around 3 45 monday morning. They say the woman was worried about her immigration status. She feared she was going to be deported because her boyfriend victor apple had been arrested days before on immigration charges. Police saw the fiveyearold and did not feel the children were in danger. Sadly, officers would return about four hours later to a heartbreaking and gruesome scene after she called 911 saying she had drowned her two children. She was pretty matter of fact her admission that the two children were dead. Our officers discovered them in the back bathtub. According to court papers she dropped the four month old in the tub, turned on the water and left him on his back as the tub filled.
