No letup this morning to the heavy rains, pounding winds and floods brutalizing the gulf coast, from pascagoula to pensacola, red flag warnings. The wind and rain unrelenting. The rain is punishing, but more than that its the wind. Gusts exceeding 35 miles an hour. The type of winds you would see in a tropical storm. Reporter emergency crews are scrambling to stabilize the beaver dam this morning in columbia. Workers are placing heavy rocks in the water to hold back the rising river. Protests filled the streets of the baltimore. Officials feel confidentable enough to send kid back to school today. New Jersey State Police are helping patrol as well but not every police force in our area are eager to help. Our coverage continues with Eyewitness News reporter jan carabao at city hall, jan.
