Peterborough-Kawartha MPP Dave Smith announced an investment of $167,000 to the service so it can streamline reporting protocols, create a comprehensive hate incident database and a campaign designed to educate the community with the distinction between hate bias and hate crime.
The Peterborough Police Service have put a dent in the city’s cocaine supply after seizing nearly 10-pounds of cocaine during a recent drug investigation dubbed Project Docker.
Project Docker spanned several months and saw eight search warrants executed in Peterborough, Peterborough County and the GTA. Cocaine, fentanyl and cash were seized.
