Frontiers | E-Learning Adoption in Higher Education Institutions During the COVID-19 Pandemic: A Multigroup Analysis

Using the DeLone and McLean (D&M) Model, the study explains the differences between female and male students’ accessibility to E-learning portals. This study compares female and male student groups regarding the usage of the E-learning portal in the higher education context. Using an online google survey, the data were collected from 254 students, including males and females. The study utilized PLS-SEM to perform a multi-group analysis examining female and male student groups. The multi-group analysis followed the MICOM procedure, and SmartPLS three was utilized to analyze the data. The study found a significant and direct relationship of E-service quality with system use and user satisfaction. System quality also supported the relationship with user satisfaction. The study further revealed a significant and positive relationship between system use and user satisfaction with E-learning portal success. This study found a direct relationship between system quality and user satisfa

Frontiers | What Factors Predict the Adoption of Type 2 Diabetes Patients to Wearable Activity Trackers—Application of Diffusion of Innovation Theory

Background: Globally, diabetes brought an enormous burden to public health resources and the situation of disease burden caused by diabetes in China is especially severe. China is currently facing the dual threat of aging and diabetes, and wearable activity trackers could promote elderly diabetic patients’ physical activity levels and help them to manage blood glucose control. Therefore, examining the influencing factors of elderly patients’ adoption intention is critical as wearing adoption determines actual wearing behaviors. Objective: This study aims to explore the predicting factors of Chinese elderly type 2 diabetic patients’ adoption intention to wearable activity trackers and their actual wearing behavior, using Diffusion of Innovation Theory as the theoretical framework. We hope to provide insights to future interventions using wearable activity trackers as tools to improve patients’ outcome. Methods: Wearable activity trackers were freely distributed to type 2 diabeti

A structural equation model to assess the impact of sustainability man by Mohamed K Watfa, Ahmed Abdelrehim et al

Sustainability, linked to the triple bottom line is a very advantageous approach in managing construction projects. However, organizations continue to apply traditional management best practices that lack a clear integration of sustainability factors. Hence, this research aims to identify the key factors of sustainability in project management within the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and to assess their potential impact on project success using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The structural model investigates 37 technical attributes across 12 confirmatory factors. It was found that there is a significant positive relationship between Project Sustainability Management (PSM) and Project Success (PS). Finally, the research provides a theoretical framework to achieve more sustainable and successful projects in the future.
