represented. it s a hsieh change for a institution that for a long time, that was considered old, white, and some would say stodgy. it s not entirely reflective of the united states in terms of diversity, but a change in that direction. you want to drill down, as well, on the number of women in congress. not just new members but overall, 102 women total. 89 democrats, 13 republicans. that s nearly 20 women more than have ever served in the institution. and again, it just underscores that the 116th congress, there will be no shortage of battles no shortage of gridlock to some degree, no shortage of fights, but there s also no shortage of barriers broken. that s something, at least for one day, everything needs to be attention to. yes, there you go. when it comes to priorities, we hear a lot from democrats saying look, look, look. we re focused on what the american people need on passing legislation, et cetera. a lot of them, including nancy pelosi, have said things like impeachment of
immortalized with an on-screen face-off. hello, i m a mac. i m a pc. hi, i m an i.t. guy. what s going on, pc? this pc is getting an upgrade. hey, a camera, nice. personified the pc and the mac and these two characters, stodgy, stiff, uptight, uncomfortable with the pc. pc. okay. justin was young, successful, good looking. everything you would aspire to me if you bought an apple computer. i heard steve jobs saw me in a movie and felt like i reminded him of a version of himself. they approached me about it, they said there was a cool and an uncool architeetype. apple l s iconic ads didn t just poke fun at the competition. they represented an epic battle of the nerds.
when i ran. a lot of people said i should have run in 12, in 08, the republican party was stodgy, i felt it was losing touch with working class americans. it did not have leaders that had a common connection to the kind of people i grew up with. mark, i grew up dirt-poor in south arkansas. i m the first male in my entire family lineage to graduate high school much less go to college. for me the american dream is not something i read about from someone else, i ve lived it. my dad was one of the americans like a lot of fathers who raise kids that he lifted heavy things, he worked hard, he got his hands dirty. that s the only jobs he ever knew. i felt like those were the people that republicans, their policies would help the most if we implemented them, but we acted like they didn t exist, and the result long-term was that the economic policies of

in any event he s not the only one talking about the photo where he s claiming she is in a self-defense pose. poor vice president biden. people like to make fun. but the pose is familiar, is it not? i look at the photo and say, it is a short trip from that to joe biden accidentally tweeting his junk. we saw the pasta monster. joe biden thinks he is a tickle monster. he s a lovable guy. part of what people love is how he s familiar, doesn t take himself seriously. he s not stiff and stodgy. that shows it. joe biden is what you call a retail politician. they get close, kiss the babies, hug folks, grab your face. it s part of retail politics. i love joe. poor dennis. he was harsh. the part about the self-defense. he s exactly right.
