ANDOVER TOWNSHIP The hearing for a proposed Copart vehicle storage facility in the township, initially scheduled more than a year ago, faces another delay. The Land Use Board deemed the newest application incomplete.
The board s unanimous vote on Tuesday was based on the recommendation of township engineer Cory Stoner, who detailed his findings during a completeness review for the property on Stickles Pond Road.
One of Stoner s main concerns with the Copart and BHT Properties Group application was the environmental impact statement. The engineer said the statement was a little light, and the partner companies did not address at great length the effect the application will have on the Pequest River that runs near the property.
