Kathy Clark knows from experience that nothing lifts people’s spirits quite like dogs dressed up in silly Christmas costumes. And so this year when she started thinking of the residents of Stevensville’s Living Centre who have been in lockdown for nearly nine months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the owner of nine basset hounds and a golden retriever knew what she needed to do. When she put out the word that her business, Clark’s Canine Camp, planned to host a Parade of Pooches on Saturday, Dec. 19, Clark had no way to know that so many other people were ready to step forward to help bring the spirit of Christmas to the men and women who live at the center.
