They admit sexting to cause harm is a growing problem. Its critical that policy makers take a thoughtful approach to figuring out how to not only protect students from the dangers posed by technology, as well as help them understand the power of the technology but to educate them with the appropriate technology. But expulsion may not be the best answer. It takes them away from sometimes their only opportunity to get the help they need to either realize the behaviors theyre engaging in are completely inappropriate and to stop.
