The judge denied the request that a doctor from per Childrens Hospital perform a tracheotomy. Jahis family attorney said it was not a setback today, he said the steps to ensure that the 13yearold will be able to be transferred to another facility are more clear. It causes deaths nationwide mostly in patients over 65. They recommend flu shots for everyone six months of age or older. It includes the h1n1 flu and it takes six weeks for full protection to take effect. Theyll be given from 11 to 2 p. Dubois good evening, scott off s off tonight, im Maurice Dubois and this is our western edition. Ice, snow, freezing cold, it is called winter and the northeast got plenty of it today and all the problems that go with it, including air travel problems that spread to the west coast. The storm is being blamed for at least eight deaths, most of them on roadways. The number of Flights Canceled over the past two days has topped 5,000, some places got as much as two feet of snow. Boston set a record. And now the cold is moving in in much of the region. The mercury never got out of the teens today. We have a team of correspondents covering the storm and first Karen Anderson of our boston station wbz.
