Alameda county reached out to us and they were interested in using us as a polling place because we are a big warehouse and of course we jumped on it right away. Were just really happy to be a part of democracy. Voting rules mean you cannot drink your beer on the premises. It is nice to be able to come here, do my voting in person and pick up a treat afterwards. One after another told us that this emergency arrangement is how it should be every year. More than half of Contra Costa County residents have already voted im here at the heather farms park and this is one of the sites where people can vote early in person. Im really im glad its done. On saturday lily wescott crossed off voting on her to do list i actually came in with my mail in ballot and didnt realize that i had the ability to just go ahead and vote early so i went ahead and took care of that right away. Early voting in person began friday in Contra Costa County jennifer look many leads the heather farms park site and says so far almost 500 people voted in person by saturday, the crowd tapered off today its been pretty well its not that slow but yesterday was earlier in the morning would have lines all the way around parks with election day fast approaching over 50 of residents in the county already voted.
