A Guernsey County man remained incarcerated in the Guernsey County Jail on a felony investigation hold after leading Cambridge police on a high-speed pursuit Saturday night with an 7-year-old passenger in the vehicle.
The 39-year-old suspect was taken into custody after stopping in the driveway outside a Bloomfield Road residence. He was arrested at gunpoint while the boy remained seated inside the vehicle.
Speeds during the pursuit on a wet Bloomfield Road (Ohio 209) reportedly exceeded 90 miles-per-hour. The driver is accused of passing at least one other vehicle traveling on Bloomfield Road at a high rate of speed.
