A KIND-hearted Barrovian was delighted to receive a very special letter from the House of Commons, thanking her for raising thousands of pounds for the NHS. Eight-year-old Lilli-Mae Archer has gone above and beyond to raise money for the Bay Hospitals Charity, completing a mammoth walking challenge last month. Throughout February, the Victoria Academy pupil set herself the target of walking five kilometres a day, clocking up 91 miles across the whole month. In total, Lilli-Mae has raised more than £3,000 for the NHS and was given a very special letter of congratulations from the Barrow MP Simon Fell. In the letter, Mr Fell praised Lilli-Mae for her fundraising efforts.
