Nearly two decades ago the extinct Walter’s Brewery was revived bringing back a Pueblo tradition that started in 1889 which today will be celebrated with hometown signature foods and a toast with “The Original” beer.
Walter’s Brewery and Taphouse, 126 Oneida St., kicks off its food truck food court season May 1 with the help of the Stoke Pizza and Steel City Café food trucks. The food trucks will be on site daily and a third food truck will join their ranks on Fridays and Saturdays, according to Gretchen Rode, a Walter’s co-owner.
Now that the COVID restrictions are beginning to loosen, Walter’s is starting a new tradition.
