Despite scant records, the Mount Gretna Tabernacle, built in 1899, is attributed to John Cilley, a self-taught engineer renowned for his innovative auditorium designs.
Those involved with the project are confident that the Quittie will soon be green and in a few years will look almost like it did when the area’s early settlers first laid eyes on it.
Plans for the Cornwall-Lebanon School District's Falcon Connector Building are currently in final stages, and will be reviewed by the South Lebanon Township Planning Commission once required permits are obtained.
