Boi Na Braza, the Brazilian steakhouse chain founded a decade ago in Grapevine These are the final two additions for the Flo Mo mixed-use development, joining a trio of waterfront eateries from Refined Hospitality Concepts that include Primo s MX, Sfereco, and Scout.

But with the coronavirus still hanging around, it s not even safe to shake hands, nevermind go on a date. Try kissing with a mask. On the bright side, this year s Valentine s Day falls on a Sunday, prompting many restaurants to host special dinners all weekend long. With extra days to celebrate, maybe that ll allow for more social distancing. And most places are doing packaged meals to go.

A new hotel in Grapevine has introduced fun little igloos on their rooftop which let you hang outside in a weatherproof environment. Hotel Vin has added what they call rooftop bubbles on their Rioja Rooftop Terrace. They re the second local hotel to open igloos to patrons, after the Statler Dallas introduced them

2-11-2021 UPDATE: By popular demand, the Winterproof celebration at Waterproof, the rooftop lounge at the iconic Statler, is being extended an additional two weeks. The life-size snow globes, which seat parties of 2 to 8, will remain through February 28. Specials on Winterproof cocktails will be offered on their final night. - A new hotel in Grapevine has introduced fun little igloos on their rooftop which let you hang outside in a weatherproof environment.

Shingle Mountain After nearly two years of litigation, the city was allowed to begin removing Shingle Mountain, 98,000 tons of abandoned asphalt shingles at 9500 S. Central Expwy. According to a release, Roberts Trucking will move the shingle material to McCommas Bluff Landfill, which plans to recycle it. The removal is being supervised by Modern Geosciences to address environmental concerns, and is anticipated to be complete by the end of March 2021.
