To have public statements and tweets made about the department, about people in the department, our men and women here, about cases pending in the department, judges before whom we have cases make it impossible for me to do my job. He went on to say he is not going to be bullied or influenced by anybody. One of the key questions this morning, what exactly is the attorney general speaking out against . Is it necessarily leniency for the president s friend roger stone . Not so sure. Is he really just taking a stand against tweeting . Joining us now, ana navarro, joe lockhart, he was White House Press secretary under president clinton, and cnn chief legal analyst jeffrey toobin, a man i like to call captain valentine. You and many others. Jeffrey, what exactly is the attorney general saying . What isnt he saying . And whats the significance of the gap in between . The tradition at the Justice Department has always been that decisions about individual cases have been left to the Justice De
Joining us now is David Gregory . A win is a win is a win. I dont have a preference, but if i work for bernie im happy i won. But last time they ran they were against Hillary Clinton who had lots of legacy brand naming and he crushed her by 22 points. He got 60 of the vote. When you go from 60 of New Hampshire being for you to last night 74 voting against you or for somebody other than you, its a win. But i think he is probably, my guess is, an uneasy front runner right now. Im actually surprised at the weakness of his victory as youve been saying. The lowest percentage any winner in New Hampshire has ever gotten. He still won, but, you know, if hes not pulling away from these candidates in the states where he is the strongest, the whitest and most northeastern. Thats his base. I think hes got problems. Waja . Im going to make nominee. After two of the whitest states have gone in New Hampshire and iowa. The base is people of color. And i think we should cool our heels for a second and

Nose a couple days ago. Hes saying what they did was absolutely beyond the pale. Hes standing by his d reverse the sentencing recommendation for roger stone. Heres the attorney general talking about this. To have public statements and tweets made
Goes directly with the past comments of his that are being unearthed now, they go directly into some of her areas of expertise. Bankruptcy law, Consumer Financial protection and now this red lining controversy. When i saw her post that today i thought this would be very interesting. It is one thing to unearth a comment from a candidate he will find awkward to complain and another against a competitor that can take you to the wood shed on it like no other politician in the world can. Bloomberg clearly had struggles with reporters trying to handle this. He know what is he wants to say but there is a shakiness in the way he presents it. If he is on the debate stage next week i imagine they will spend time working on that. When i talked to Amy Klobuchar about the prosecutor that mayor bloomberg might qualify for the debate. She didnt rub her hands together but it was implied by the eyes. We will have some video of Amy Klobuchar two nights before they counted the votes in New Hampshire. The
