Security failures coming to light now in this new report from the Homeland Security Inspector General. So lets go straight to suzanne malveaux, who has more on this, on these trials how many were there, how did this happen . Heres how it went down. Department of Homeland Securitys office of Inspector General conducted a series of tests where their officials, theyre called red teams, posed as passengers tries to pass through those Security Check points with these realistic looking explosives or weapons. Tsa officers failed 67 out of 70 of these tests or 95 of the time to identify and actually confiscate these items. They got through the pat downs, searches the whole thing. It should be noted that the tsa also brooke does similar kinds of tests on themselves to see what are these holes in the Security System and how can they be addressed. Well theyve been doing this now for 13 years, so the tests, by both the Inspector Generals office and by tsa, by their very nature are designed to make

Cnn is now tracking how Hayat Boumeddiene may have escaped to syria. All of these men believed to have helped smuggle her out of turkey. As the reach of isis extends deep into europe back on their turf. Japan now has less than 72 hours to come up with this 200 million ransom for the return of these two japanese hostages. To the Prime Minister of japan, although you are more than 8,500 kilometers away from the Islamic State you have willingly taken part in this crusade. This is significant. This is a first. Really until now, isis has never publicly demanded cash ransom for a hostages life. And the 200 million ransom was not chosen at random.
