STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A 43-year-old man remains in critical condition on Friday a day after he was ejected when the mobility scooter he was riding hit a parked car on Hylan Boulevard in Tottenville, according to police.
The man, who is disabled and uses a scooter to move around, might have had a medical episode before striking the car, according to a source with knowledge of the investigation.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A 62-year-old woman died after being struck by a car while crossing a busy intersection in New Dorp on Sunday night.
Hongyou Huang of Grant City was pronounced dead at Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze following the crash at Tysens Lane and Hylan Boulevard, according to a statement from the NYPD.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Several people were injured when a police car and two other vehicles collided at an intersection in West Brighton on Sunday night.
A 72-year-old woman is in stable condition at Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze after sustaining a leg injury when she was struck by the police vehicle while she was waiting at a bus stop, according to preliminary information from the NYPD.
