STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. One person was sent to the hospital after a Grant City crash on Hylan Boulevard Tuesday afternoon, according to an official from the FDNY’s press office.
The crash occurred near the intersection of Hylan Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue at around 3:50 p.m., the FDNY said.
A gray sedan was observed on the scene with front-end damage, while a black motorcycle was partially on the sidewalk following the crash.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. The driver of an MTA express was beaten by a customer in a dispute over an electric scooter Monday morning in Grasmere, according to police.
The NYPD is investigating the assault that transpired at about 6:20 a.m. on board a SIM10 bus at Narrows Road South and Fingerboard Road, according to spokesmen for the MTA and NYPD.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A 43-year-old man remains in critical condition on Friday a day after he was ejected when the mobility scooter he was riding hit a parked car on Hylan Boulevard in Tottenville, according to police.
The man, who is disabled and uses a scooter to move around, might have had a medical episode before striking the car, according to a source with knowledge of the investigation.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A 62-year-old woman died after being struck by a car while crossing a busy intersection in New Dorp on Sunday night.
Hongyou Huang of Grant City was pronounced dead at Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze following the crash at Tysens Lane and Hylan Boulevard, according to a statement from the NYPD.
