The Wayne County Health Department reported seven new lab-confirmed positive cases of the coronavirus Friday and Saturday, bringing the county's total to 1419. The cases covering Friday and Saturday include a female teen, a female in her 30s, three females in their 40s, a male in his 40s and a male in his 50s. 47 people who were lab-confirmed positive cases have passed away, four are hospitalized and 48 people are isolating. The health department also reports one Antigen Probable Reported Case, a male in his 60s, and 146 "probable" reported cases of COVID-19 in Wayne County. Of those, 12 are currently isolating along with being actively contact traced. The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 8345 new cases of the coronavirus around the state Saturday, and 65 additional deaths.
