MADISON, Wis. - May is national Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month and the Wisconsin State Patrol is asking motorcyclists and all other motorists to share the road, be alert and safe.
A news release says 2020 preliminary data for Wisconsin shows there were 2,095 motorcycle crashes, 1,788 motorcyclists injured, and 112 motorcycle fatalities. Drivers must be in the habit of looking for motorcyclists, Wisconsin State Patrol Captain Anne Maxson said, and motorcyclists should watch for other vehicles and get properly trained and licensed. Together we can save lives.
Spilled power washing fluid leaves I94 streaked purple
JOHNSON CREEK- Earlier today a trailer leaked a purple liquid along a section of I94 near Johnson Creek.
Wisconsin State Patrol Captain Anne Maxson says the power washing fluid, known as Apple Wash, isn’t toxic, but it could leave residue on your car’s paint if not cleaned off right away.
Used in power washing, apple wash isn’t toxic or hazardous to wildlife, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol’s Capt. Anne Maxson, but it may take some extra effort to remove it if it got on your vehicle.
“It may not come off with just a hand washing,” Maxson said, “you may need you power wash to take the material off.”
