thanks for being with us. thanks for having me, rachel. tell us about the significance of all the evidence you showed today, that john eastman and presumably, according to our evidence, the president himself, both knew that the plot that they were pursuing on january 6th, they knew it was illegal. why is that important? well, it s important to build off of the last hearing that we had, which established the president knew he lost the election. and so, now, he knows he lost the election. now, we are getting to november and december, from a timeline perspective. they re failing lawsuits, 62 federal and state lawsuits that they lost. and so now as the pressure builds, getting to january six, we are at a latch on to this thoroughly debunked eastman strategy, you know, that judge carter, federal judge, called, you know, a coup in search of a legal theory. and so, that s what they gravitated to. as the only opportunity to hold power, to stay in power, to stay in office, the president l
states. in connecticut, a new law will protect abortion seekers and providers from out of state lawsuits. but conservatives also feel emboldened. in louisiana, lawmakers are are pushing a bill that would classify abortions as homicides. these red states already have legislature in place that would trigger automatic bans if it overturns roe and other states are likely to follow south. analysts say the next frontier in the abortion battle may be the growing use of pills by mail that can end unwanton pregnancies. suppliers of these medications say they intend to keep sending them to the u.s., no matter what state laws say. reporter: for those intent on ending apportions in parts of the united states, the biggest barrier may now not be politics but pills. which researchers say are
