The property is located at 2288 State Highway Two in the Northern Waikato – which links Auckland to the Coromandel Peninsula and the western reaches of the Bay of Plenty. New Zealand Transport Agency figures show that on an average weekday, some 11,692 vehicles travel along this stretch of the highway in both directions.

$450,000 worth of cash and methamphetamine found near crashed vehicle

Police have arrested two people after cash and methamphetamine, worth up to $450,000, was found near a crashed vehicle north of Masterton.
A speeding vehicle, travelling towards Eketahuna, didn t stop for Police on State Highway Two yesterday afternoon.
Police didn t chase the vehicle, but found it crashed in a shallow culvert near Mt Bruce a few minutes later.
A 21-year-old man and 22-year-old woman have been charged with possession of methamphetamine for supply.
The man was also charged with a range of driving offences.
Both appeared in Masterton District Court today and were remanded in custody to reappear on Friday, April 23.
