Special to The Hawk Eye I am woman, hear me roar in numbers too big to ignore. Helen Ready ripped through these rebellious lyrics as part of her 1972 song release. Her song embodies the struggle women have been through in an attempt to forge equality, acceptance and a place on the political stage.
The mere idea of woman being in politics instead of just working behind the scenes is relatively new.
