New Delhi: India football team goalkeeper Subhasish Roy Chowdhury has revealed that he and his family had to starve for days and live on “leftover pieces” of food in order to satisfy hunger.
A professional goalkeeper for over 18 years now, Subhasish has won every single domestic competition in India and has been an integral part of the Blue Tigers for over a decade.

A Lower Hutt woman who starved a horse for several weeks until it was too weak to even be led away by an SPCA inspector has been denied a discharge without conviction.
Tania Harrison appeared in the Hutt Valley District Court this afternoon where her lawyer argued she shouldn t receive a conviction for the offending because it would affect her ability to maintain or get a job in the future.

A man (stowaway) who clung to the undercarriage of a jumbo jet and survived an 11-hour, 5,639-mile flight from South Africa to London has spoken for the first time of his terrifying journey.
