I love our history, architecture, food and people but what I love most about life in the Nutmeg State is complaining. Connecticut people have a great sense of humor and live to shred their own environment. That is how I know you're going to like this guy, he goes by dhtoomey on Tik Tok and he gave Connecticut a beating in a November '23 video.
One of the benefits of living in Connecticut is supposed to be safety. We'd like to think that we are OK, our families safe and that our hard-earned possessions are secure but that is no longer the case. We know that the world is changing and maybe our families and property are not as safe as we'd hoped.
Jackie The Joke Man Martling is a comedy icon. Martling's role in the Howard Stern Show is well documented but Jackie has done so much more, including running a one-of-a-kind joke hotline for nearly 50 years. Martling's life and career are now the subject of a documentary called Joke Man. Jackie has been a friend to the I-95 Morning Show for many years so we wanted to check in with him to learn more about the film.
It turns out I was right where I needed to be and a Patterson story was showing up on a national media service. If a story from Putnam County shows up on this particular media radar, it has to be bananas or nuts in this case. It proved to be all of the above and I was reading something I've never heard before, a local man accused of animal cruelty against squirrels.
Well, he's the weatherman on the I-95 Morning Show which is kind of the same thing. Jack is our most trusted source for local weather and when we heard there was more snow in the forecast for Thursday into Friday, we gave him a call.
