YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. The draft decision of the CSTO Collective Security Council to provide help to Armenia has been generally agreed upon, CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas said during the joint session of the CSTO Foreign, Defense Ministers and Secretaries of the Security Councils in Yerevan.
Massive support of Ukraine from the North Atlantic Alliance and other states can lead to the escalation of the conflict through dragging other states in it, the secretary general said.
Leaders of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states are set to take part in a session of the Collective Security Council, the organization's supreme body, in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, on 23 November.
Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized the importance of preserving allied relations: “In this frantic and rapidly changing world, our allied relations must remain firm. We should not allow anyone to get us embroiled into dispute, to plant seeds of disagreement between us. The future of our countries and our organization will depend on it.”
