Armenia effectively dismissed on Thursday Russia’s latest calls to drop its preconditions for the deployment of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) monitors to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
Grigoryan has voiced criticism of CSTO’s inaction to reopen the Lachin Corridor, arguing that Russia is responsible for the Lachin Corridor based on the November 9, 2020 tripartite statement that ended the 2020 Artsakh war.
The Russian side did not turn to the CSTO partners with a request to assist in a special operation in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
